Brand: The Japanese Garden is tucked into a cusp in Portland's West Hills, situated at about five hundred feet above sea level. It is a haven of tranquil beauty that has been proclaimed one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan.

Challenge: Create a site that communicates the quiet nature of the garden, while offering easy access to information for a description of the gardens plus an online gift shop featuring 70 items of unique design and quality.

Solution: Minimalist design was key in presenting the elegance of the gardens on the Web. The online gift store was created with an intuitive navigation that blends the quality of the products in an easy-to-get-around format.

Result: The site has not only been beneficial as far as a description of the gardens, its history and obtaining a membership, but has increased revenue for the gift store as well.
